It had been three days since my fling with Chauncey and Jasmine hasn’t been seen in the club since. That hoe probably had a nervous break down after showing up at his place the other night. I decided to camp out down the street from his house after I left and about thirty minutes later I saw Jasmine whip up into his driveway and storm inside the house. I’ve been trying to figure out my next move. That damn safe room in her office has been on my mind for a minute but I still had no way of getting inside without being seen. I sat back in chair and checked myself out in the mirror. “I’ve had some business to handle.”

“Don’t we all.” She gestured to the floor. “Ya boy, Harold, has been here every night asking for you. I don’t know why you fuck with that nerdy looking nigga.”

I chuckled. “His money is green. That’s all that matters to me.”

“True. Have you heard about the new store Nikki is going to be opening next month?”

I frowned. “New store? Didn’t her little clothing shop burn down two weeks ago? How she opening a new one so quick?”

“Well you know her husband Dre got that dope money stacked. Even if he ain’t in the game no more, he still used to make lot of dough,” she said rubbing her fingers together.

This was one of the main reasons I’m cool with Lala, cause she tells me nearly everything that I need to know without me having to ask too many questions.

“Dre who?”

“Dre Wade. He used to be a big time dope boy a few years ago before he supposedly went legit.”

I had heard Malachi mention his name on more than a few occasions as a nigga that owed him money.
